The project "Together for a responsible community" includes a series of activities, among which we mention: four awareness-raising and testing workshops for the people from the target group of the project, two in each of the two partner countries, four information and promotion workshops for the intellectual products developed within the project, two in each of the two partner countries, multiplication events, project meetings attended by people involved in the implementation of the project.

International exchange of good practices

Cyprus

A first project meeting between representatives of the two partner organisations took place in Cyprus from 30 May to 2 June 2022. During this meeting there was an exchange of best practices, they observed the practical methods that the partner country has implemented: their way of waste collection, there were discussions with Cypriot specialists in the field, there were visits to rural areas to see ''live'' how they did it and what is the study of the people.
Participants took part in brainstorming sessions to develop the Green BioGuide, based on the information they observed and after seeing first-hand how the partner country protects the environment.

Transnational meeting for sustainable development and implementation

 Romania

The second project meeting took place in Romania from 11 to 14 July 2022. During this activity the specialists from the Bumir team together with specialists from the OPEI team met in Romania to prepare the second phase of the project implementation. Promovation and dissemination through correspondence

Romania & Cyprus

As part of this activity the partners have designed a Green Pack containing: thematic maps, information graphics and BioGuides. Each material designed for this Green Pack aims to disseminate it to local authorities and local non-profit organisations that have activities in the field of environmental protection. By disseminating this Green Pack, local communities benefit from information materials aimed at raising awareness of environmental protection issues and promoting the project "Together for a responsible community".This activity had a dual role and was designed as a way to reach as many citizens as possible by encouraging the voices that matter. By promoting the project ''Together for a responsible community'', the importance of educating rural people in the spirit of nature and raising awareness of the competent and decision-making authorities about the impact of this social group on the environment will be made known at as many levels as possible.

Dissemination conference

Romania & Cyprus

The partners held a Dissemination Conference in each partner country, Romania and Cyprus. The Dissemination Conferences aimed to promote the results of the project ''Together for a responsible community'' to as many people as possible and to raise awareness in the local communities of the importance of developing green behaviours to apply in their daily lives.
Through these conferences we provided the participants with the necessary information to develop pro-green behaviours, which they could then, through their specialisations, pass on to other disadvantaged communities in rural areas and beyond, facilitating access to psycho education in the spirit of environmental protection.
The conferences were structured in 4 parts: the first part was a presentation of the environmental issue and the human impact on it and climate change, the second part consisted in the promotion of the project and the results obtained, as a model of good practices for similar initiatives, the third part presented the BIOGuideVerde guide, the project website and the pro-life behaviours together with examples of activities encountered at the work-shop, and the last part was an open questions, survey and feedback session.
