About Project

”Together for a responsible community”

Earth is our home. A friendly home because it gives us everything it has without asking us for anything directly. It has always hoped that people would realize that it cannot be exploited indefinitely. It strives to provide varied resources, but these are limited because they need a certain amount of time, years, maybe decades to recover.

Our Story

The "Together for a responsible community" project started from a desire for change. Most of the environment protection actions have focused on urban versus rural areas.

"Together for a responsible community" is a project that aims to raise awareness of the issue of environmental damage and to train adults with a series of concrete actions they can implement both individually and collectively to protect nature. The project is directly targeted at rural communities aged between 25 and 65.

The objectives of the project are to:

  1. Develop pro-nature behaviours to protect the environment and involve adults in the fight against climate change.

  2. Increase civic spirit, social responsibility by involving citizens in a common action to protect the environment.

Benefits of citizens' participation in the project:

  • Learning concrete actions that citizens will learn during the workshops and can implement immediately (examples of actions: how to recycle a bottle correctly, what can be used to replace a number of materials that are degradable, colour coding, reusable versus non-reusable materials, etc).

  • Raising awareness and how citizens can become actively involved in protecting the environment and increasing understanding of the role of the individual in the food chain.

  • Learning concrete actions with double benefits (protection of natural resources and long-term economy)

  • Online access to materials presented in the programme to ensure a sustainable effect.

The programme of project activities:

  • Development of a mini guide "GreenBioGuide".

  • A first series of workshops with the aim of presenting environmental issues, presentation of photo-video materials for increasing impact and practical part consisting of concrete examples of collection.

  • A second series of workshops that aims to complement the information from the first series together with raising awareness of the group's impact on the environment, the importance of collective actions, how the community can protect the environment and how citizens can get actively involved in the fight against climate change.

  •  Dissemination conference. During this conference participants will be presented with the results and activities of the project.
